Orchestra Manager
Gabby Ho is a dedicated violist and private lesson instructor currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music. She studies viola with Dr. Amber Archibald. Originally from Changhua, Taiwan, she began playing the violin at age six and started performing in a full orchestra at age ten. Inspired by her teachers, she is committed to becoming an orchestra director upon graduation.
With this passion, Gabby started teaching as a private lesson instructor at public school districts and a private home studio in August 2023. Also, she has administrative experience as a Senior Intern at the AFA Summer Music Festival in 2024 and 2025.
Gabby has extensive performance experience, including her achievement as a Principal Violist to perform at Carnegie Hall in February 2023. In addition to her musical talents, her interests have expanded to include sound engineering. She served as a Sound Engineer Intern at the Katy ISD Jazz Festival in 2021 and 2022, where she assisted with audio equipment setup and troubleshooting. This well-rounded background combines her passion for performance and education with administrative and technical skills.
