Carden Tran is a second year student at the University of Houston Moores School of Music and Political Science Department, where he is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Clarinet Performance under Chester Rowell and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He loves to spread the joy of music and is excited to do so as both a leader and soloist in CCSO. In 2024, Carden graduated as Valedictorian of his class at Pearland High School and was selected as a TMEA All-Stater. At the University of Houston, Carden actively performs with the UH MSM Wind Ensemble, Spirit of Houston, Cougar Brass, Cougar Camerata Symphony Orchestra, and was most recently chosen to perform with the Moores Opera Center. In his free time, Carden loves to watch sports with his friends, play video games, and spent time with his lovely girlfriend
